About the role#
This is a part-time, hourly pharmacy student position located in Tsawwassen First Nation. You will work in a community pharmacy setting to gain practical experience and prepare for a career in the field. This role offers exposure to the day-to-day operations of a retail pharmacy and the expanding responsibilities of community pharmacists.
What you'll do#
- Deliver health, beauty, and convenience services to customers.
- Acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Enhance your communication skills by interacting with patients and healthcare workers.
- Learn about over-the-counter products, patient counseling, drug therapy, and disease state management.
- Ensure all privacy requirements, including customer confidentiality and consent management, are met.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a program such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, or Health Administration.
- An understanding of privacy requirements.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences.
