Pharmacy Student, Hourly Part Time Flexible Shifts

About the role#

This is a part-time, hourly pharmacy student position located in Stony Plain, Alberta. This role offers practical, on-site experience in a community pharmacy setting, designed to complement academic studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Health Administration, or Public Health. You will work under a local Associate-Owner, gaining exposure to the daily operations of a retail pharmacy while developing skills in patient counseling, disease state management, and drug therapy.

What you'll do#

• Greet and acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy counter.
• Maintain strict adherence to privacy requirements, including the management of customer confidentiality and consent.
• Ensure you are clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
• Participate in the delivery of health and wellness services to the community.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a relevant program such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Health Administration, or Public Health.
• A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
• An understanding of the importance of customer confidentiality and consent protocols.
