About the role#
We are hiring a Pharmacy Student to join our team in Pickering, Ontario. This is a part-time, on-site position. You will work within our pharmacy department to support medication preparation, inventory management, and automated packaging workflows.
What you'll do#
- Generate automation reports and manage workflows using Kroll pharmacy management software.
- Package medications into unit dose pouches using our automation machine, including performing maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory at pre-specified levels and place orders for supplies or specialty items.
- Assist with inventory pre-count preparation and support inventory count vendors.
- Action drug recalls and secure alternative products when necessary.
- Prepare medication orders and packages for shipment, including troubleshooting orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Label medications and over-the-counter products, and prepare blister packs and mixtures.
What you'll need#
- Post-secondary education in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Previous pharmacy experience with Long Term Care.
- Proficiency with Kroll software.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions.
- Physical ability to manoeuvre quickly and consistently for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work in different departments as needed.

- Location: 1792 Liverpool Rd, Pickering, ON.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Part-time.
- Compensation: $20.90 to $28.60 per hour, based on experience and knowledge.
