About the role#
Shoppers Drug Mart is hiring a pharmacy intern for our location in Gatineau. This is a paid, part-time position designed to provide hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will work under a local owner while gaining exposure to the daily operations of a retail pharmacy.
What you'll do#
- Welcome every customer who enters the pharmacy.
- Manage client consent and ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Maintain high standards for customer confidentiality.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Provide services related to health, beauty, and convenience.
- Develop skills in patient communication, disease management, and medication counseling.
What you'll need#
- You must be a student currently pursuing a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- A focus on learning the evolving role of the community pharmacist.
