About the role#

This position offers practical, real-world experience for students pursuing careers in pharmacy. Based in a community retail setting, the role focuses on delivering health, beauty, and convenience services while preparing future pharmacists for success. You will work under a local Associate-Owner with the support of a national network.

What you'll do#

• Deliver health and wellness services to the community.
• Provide an exceptional shopping and service experience for pharmacy customers.
• Acknowledge all customers approaching the pharmacy and maintain a professional presence.
• Manage customer confidentiality and consent requirements.
• Gain hands-on exposure to the expanding roles of a community pharmacist.
• Develop skills in managing a retail pharmacy environment.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a relevant program such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Public Health, Nursing, or Health Administration.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, and drug therapy.
• A commitment to maintaining privacy and confidentiality standards.
