About the role#
We are looking for a Pharmacy Student to join our team in Elliot Lake, Ontario. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position with a rolling term. You will support our pharmacy operations by managing automation workflows, maintaining inventory, and preparing medication for patients.
What you'll do#
- Generate automation reports using Kroll pharmacy management software.
- Package medications into unit dose pouches using the automation machine.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory at pre-specified minimum stock levels.
- Place orders for pharmacy supplies and specialty items.
- Label medication and over-the-counter products.
- Prepare medication blister packs and mixtures.
- Follow step-by-step workflows to prepare packages for shipment and medication orders for patients.
What you'll need#
- Experience with Kroll software.
- Previous pharmacy experience with Long Term Care.
- Post-secondary education in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Nursing, Health Administration, or Chemistry.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including maneuvering quickly for extended periods.
- Candidates must be 18 years or older and will be required to complete a criminal background check.

- Work Modality: On-site.
- Pay: $20.90 to $28.60 per hour, depending on experience and knowledge.
