About the role#
This position offers practical experience for students in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, or Health Administration within a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a retail environment designed to enhance your academic training and prepare you for a career in pharmacy. This is a part-time, hourly role with flexible shifts.
What you'll do#
- Acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including customer confidentiality and consent management.
- Maintain clear visibility to the public while on duty.
- Provide an exceptional shopping experience for pharmacy customers.
- Deliver health and beauty services to the community.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a program related to Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, or Health Administration.
- Knowledge of over-the-counter (OTC) products and disease state management.
- Patient counseling skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and health care workers.
- Commitment to ensuring customer confidentiality.
