About the role#
This position offers practical experience for students interested in community pharmacy. You will work in a retail environment to gain real world training that complements your academic studies. This role is open to students in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, or Health Administration.
What you'll do#
- Greet customers as they approach the pharmacy area.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and manage consent to meet all privacy requirements.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Build your knowledge of OTC products, drug therapy, and disease state management.
- Develop your ability to manage a retail pharmacy setting.
- Improve your communication skills when interacting with patients, staff, and other health care professionals.

- Location: 1020 Denman St, Vancouver, British Columbia.
- Schedule: Part-time with flexible shifts.
- Pay: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour.
- Work modality: On-site.
