Pharmacy Student, Hourly Part Time Flexible Shifts

About the role#

This position offers practical, real-world experience for students pursuing careers in pharmacy. Working in a community retail setting, you will gain exposure to the daily operations of a pharmacy while developing professional skills through direct interaction with patients and healthcare staff.

What you'll do#

• Acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
• Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including maintaining customer confidentiality and managing consent.
• Maintain clear visibility to the public while on duty.
• Enhance your knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, and drug therapy.
• Develop patient counseling skills and learn the fundamentals of managing a retail pharmacy.
• Improve communication skills by collaborating with patients, employees, and other healthcare workers.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a relevant program, such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, or Health Administration.
• A commitment to providing an exceptional experience for pharmacy customers.
• Ability to work in a community pharmacy environment.

• Schedule: Part-time with flexible shifts.
• Compensation: $22.00 - $28.75 per hour, based on experience and knowledge.
