About the role#
Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking pharmacy students for the summer of 2026. This role provides hands-on experience in pharmacy operations and professional services while focusing on delivering patient care. The position is open to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-year students.
What you'll do#
- Process prescriptions and handle prescription intake and release.
- Assist patients and promote pharmacy programs and professional services.
- Engage in pharmacy tasks including compounding and compliance packaging.
- Model professional standards and contribute to pharmacy operations.
- Work independently to manage tasks and meet deadlines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited pharmacy program.
- Registration as a student or intern within the relevant province.
- Availability Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM throughout the summer.
- Experience with Kroll software.
- Injection certification is required for 3rd-year students at the time of hire.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
