About the role#
Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking pharmacy students for the Summer 2025 term, with potential opportunities extending into the Fall 2025 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position designed to provide hands-on experience in pharmacy operations and professional services. We are accepting applications from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-year students.
What you'll do#
- Process prescriptions and handle prescription intake and release.
- Assist patients and promote pharmacy programs and professional services.
- Perform compounding and compliance packaging tasks.
- Deliver outstanding customer care while acting as a brand ambassador for the company.
- Complete other pharmacy-related tasks appropriate for your level of training.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited pharmacy program.
- Registration as a student or intern within the relevant province.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines.
- Open availability throughout the summer, including evenings and weekends.
- Injection certification at the time of interview or hire (required for 3rd-year students only).
