About the role#
Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking pharmacy technician students for the Summer 2025 term, with potential opportunities extending into the Fall 2025 term. This role provides hands-on experience in pharmacy operations and professional services while focusing on patient care. The position is open to first-year pharmacy technician students.
What you'll do#
- Process prescriptions and assist with prescription intake and release.
- Perform pharmacy-related tasks such as compounding and compliance packaging.
- Promote pharmacy programs and professional services to patients.
- Deliver outstanding customer care.
- Act as a brand ambassador by modeling the company value of "Kindness In Every Community."
- Manage tasks efficiently and work independently to meet deadlines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited pharmacy technician program.
- Registration as a student or intern within the relevant province.
- Open availability throughout the summer, including evenings and weekends.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
