Pharmacy Technician - Student

About the role#

Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking pharmacy technician students for the Summer 2025 term, with potential opportunities extending into the Fall 2025 term. This role provides hands-on experience in pharmacy operations and professional services while focusing on patient care. The position is open to first-year pharmacy technician students.

What you'll do#

• Process prescriptions and assist with prescription intake and release.
• Perform pharmacy-related tasks such as compounding and compliance packaging.
• Promote pharmacy programs and professional services to patients.
• Deliver outstanding customer care.
• Act as a brand ambassador by modeling the company value of "Kindness In Every Community."
• Manage tasks efficiently and work independently to meet deadlines.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an accredited pharmacy technician program.
• Registration as a student or intern within the relevant province.
• Open availability throughout the summer, including evenings and weekends.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
