Pharmacy Intern, Hourly Full Time Flexible Shifts

About the role#

This position offers practical experience for students in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Health Administration, or Biomedical Sciences. You will work in a community pharmacy setting, gaining real-world training that complements your academic studies. This role is designed to prepare future pharmacists for success by exposing them to the daily operations of a retail pharmacy.

What you'll do#

• Deliver health, beauty, and convenience services to the community.
• Learn to manage a retail pharmacy, including knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
• Enhance communication skills by interacting with patients, employees, and other health care workers.
• Ensure all privacy requirements, including customer confidentiality and consent management, are met.
• Acknowledge all customers approaching the pharmacy and provide an exceptional shopping experience.
• Maintain a professional appearance and remain clearly identifiable to the public.
