About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students within a community retail setting. You will work in a store managed by a local Associate Owner while gaining exposure to the operations of a professional pharmacy. This role focuses on preparing you for a future career as a pharmacist by providing real world training in a community environment.
What you'll do#
- Greet and acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage retail pharmacy operations while maintaining a public-facing presence.
- Ensure all privacy and confidentiality requirements are met, including proper consent management.
- Improve your communication skills by interacting with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
- Expand your knowledge of over-the-counter products, drug therapy, disease state management, and patient counseling.

- Current enrollment in a pharmacy program.

- Location: 3020 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC.
- Schedule: Part time with flexible shifts.
- Compensation: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour.
