About the role#
This position is for a Pharmacy Student at a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart in Port Moody. You will gain practical experience in a community pharmacy setting, learning about the evolving roles of pharmacists while supporting store operations. This role is designed to prepare students for success in a community environment.
What you'll do#
- Deliver health, beauty, and convenience services while keeping the customer at the center of your work.
- Provide an exceptional shopping experience for pharmacy customers.
- Acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Ensure all privacy requirements, including confidentiality and consent management, are met.
- Maintain a clear, identifiable presence to the public.
- Enhance your communication skills by interacting with patients, employees, and other health care workers.
- Build your knowledge of over-the-counter products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, or Health Administration.
- An interest in retail pharmacy management and community health.

- Location: 3215 St Johns Street, Port Moody, British Columbia.
- Schedule: Part-time, flexible shifts, weekends only.
- Pay: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour, depending on experience and location.
