About the role#
Lake Country Co-op is seeking a part-time Student Gas Bar Clerk for the Marquis Road C-Store and Gas Bar location. This position is ideal for students pursuing studies in Business Administration or Marketing who are looking to gain experience in a customer-focused retail environment.
What you'll do#
- Provide pump island and in-store service to guests.
- Dispense fuel and propane while operating the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Stock and face shelves to maintain product displays.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure the location remains neat, clean, and orderly.
- Complete daily reconciliations and reports.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety protocols and asset protection.
What you'll need#
- Experience with POS systems and the ability to work in a busy, guest-facing environment.
- Ability to work independently, plan, and organize your own work.
- Capability to meet physical job requirements, including standing for extended periods and regularly lifting 20 to 25 pounds.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to obtain necessary certifications, including WHMIS and propane dispensing.
