Student Gas Bar Clerk

About the role#

Lake Country Co-op is seeking a part-time Student Gas Bar Clerk for the Marquis Road C-Store and Gas Bar location. This position is ideal for students pursuing studies in Business Administration or Marketing who are looking to gain experience in a customer-focused retail environment.

What you'll do#

• Provide pump island and in-store service to guests.
• Dispense fuel and propane while operating the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Stock and face shelves to maintain product displays.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure the location remains neat, clean, and orderly.
• Complete daily reconciliations and reports.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety protocols and asset protection.

What you'll need#

• Experience with POS systems and the ability to work in a busy, guest-facing environment.
• Ability to work independently, plan, and organize your own work.
• Capability to meet physical job requirements, including standing for extended periods and regularly lifting 20 to 25 pounds.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to obtain necessary certifications, including WHMIS and propane dispensing.
