About the role#
Lake Country Co-op is hiring a part-time Student Gas Bar Clerk for our Cornerstone C-Store and Gas Bar in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. This position is suitable for students available to work after school, on weekends, and during holidays.
What you'll do#
- Provide service at the pump island and inside the store.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to assist guests.
- Dispense fuel and propane.
- Stock and face shelves to keep the store organized.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean location.
- Receive, price, and display merchandise.
- Complete daily reconciliations and reports.
- Follow safety policies and asset protection procedures.
What you'll need#
- Ability to work unsupervised and plan your own tasks.
- Strong cash management skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 20 to 25 pounds regularly.
- Willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- A flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Readiness to obtain WHMIS and propane dispensing certifications.
- Preference for candidates pursuing studies in Business Administration, Operations Management, or Logistics.
