About the role#
Lake Country Co-op is seeking a full-time Gas Bar Clerk for the Shellbrook Corner location. This role supports the company mission by providing service to members and guests while maintaining operational efficiency and safety standards.
What you'll do#
- Provide service to guests and operate the point of sale (POS) system.
- Stock and face shelves, receive and price merchandise, and perform general housekeeping duties.
- Complete daily reconciliations and reports.
- Adhere to policies regarding the sale of age-restricted items, including lottery, tobacco, and liquor.
- Support the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems.
- Provide cross-support in the Wine, Spirits, and Beer department as needed.
What you'll need#
- You must be 19 years of age or older.
- Previous experience with POS systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting 20 to 25 pounds regularly.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to obtain Serve it Right certification.
- Honesty, trustworthiness, and a results-oriented approach.
