About the role#
As a communications intern, you will support the corporate communications and CSR team. You will work on marketing communications projects, corporate giving initiatives, and internal communications. This role provides hands-on experience with employee engagement, HR communications, change management, and diversity and inclusion programs. You will also help maintain databases and files, respond to donation requests, and support the planning of internal and external events.
What you'll do#
- Build presentation decks by gathering data, images, and content.
- Translate stakeholder input into effective presentation decks.
- Post documents and news items on the HUB intranet.
- Assist in developing an editorial calendar for the internal newsletter.
- Support the planning and execution of Associate Appreciation Weeks.
- Maintain and manage the internal corporate communications calendar.
- Create internal communications content for various departments.
- Support DEI and CSR initiatives, including Pride and the Annual Golf Fundraising event.
- Create social media content for employee value, brand, DEI, and CSR activities.
- Provide support for the Annual Conference, including the awards process.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a university or college program in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and basic video editing software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects.
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
