About the role#
We are hiring an Information Technology Student for our Winnipeg district. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site, providing technical support to our office and various construction site locations. The term is 4 months long, with the possibility of extending to 8 or 12 months.
What you'll do#
- Provide tier 1 phone support and tier 2 in-person support.
- Log IT support calls and track issues.
- Deploy hardware and maintain IT work areas.
- Manage equipment audits and shipments.
- Create process documentation to assist the team.
- Support Systems and Office Administrators with various technical tasks.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Office and basic hardware support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A focus on providing quality customer service.
- Previous support experience is an asset.
- Enrollment in a Computer Science or related program.
