About the role#
This is a 4-month internship for Winter 2027, running from January to April. You will work with the Enterprise Control Testing team to evaluate the design and effectiveness of key controls. You will report to the Senior Manager and act as a liaison between business partners to manage stakeholder engagement.
What you'll do#
- Support strategic initiatives to meet regulatory commitments for control assessments.
- Perform control assessment activities according to Enterprise policies and standards.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of tools used for risk assessments and control testing.
- Contribute to special process improvement projects and ad-hoc assignments.
- Participate in discussions with management regarding work plans and strategies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at a Canadian post-secondary institution.
- Academic focus in business, risk management, finance, mathematics, statistics, or engineering.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Creative and analytical thinking abilities.
- Experience working on projects and managing ambiguity.
- High attention to detail and ability to learn new information quickly.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position based in Toronto, Ontario.
- The role supports flexible work arrangements, including remote, on-site, or hybrid options, to be confirmed with the hiring manager.
- You must be located in Ontario for the duration of the work term.
- Candidates must be returning to school after the term ends or require this 4-month placement as a mandatory graduation requirement.
