About the role#
The Student Gas Bar Attendant I position supports the daily operations of the gas bar. This role involves direct interaction with customers and requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting of products and the use of computers for point of sale transactions. This is a full-time, on-site position based on 10 to 20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Provide exceptional customer service to member-owners and internal customers.
- Service vehicles and fill propane bottles.
- Operate the point of sale terminal and manage car wash services.
- Maintain inventory through stocking and conducting regular counts.
- Ensure the department remains clean, organized, and well-merchandised.
- Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and government regulations.
- Complete required in-house training and e-learning certifications.
- Monitor for the unauthorized removal of merchandise and equipment.
What you'll need#
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Quality communication skills.
- Understanding of company values including teamwork, people, excellence, and community.
- Ability to work a rotational schedule that includes days, evenings, and weekends.
- Previous experience in customer service is considered an asset.
- Open to students pursuing studies in Business Administration, Communications, Logistics, or Psychology.
