About the role#
This is an 8-month internship within the Group Risk Management team at RBC. You will work on AI-driven projects that aim to improve risk management workflows through generative AI, machine learning, and deep learning. This role focuses on building practical applications that address business challenges.
What you'll do#
- Build and deploy high-impact AI solutions, moving from initial design and proof-of-concept to production.
- Translate business use cases into technical problems by working directly with business users.
- Develop project strategies and create executive presentations.
- Build real-world applications that solve specific business challenges.
- Research new developments in AI and share findings with the team.
What you'll need#
- Hands-on experience with prompt engineering to optimize LLM outputs.
- Experience developing modular and scalable software using Python 3.x.
- Knowledge of modular RAG systems and agentic systems.
- Understanding of machine learning and deep learning algorithms, including both supervised and unsupervised methods.
- Familiarity with professional software engineering practices across the development lifecycle.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Statistics.
