About the role#
This is a full-time internship or co-op position within the Credit Analytics Group (CAG) at Scotiabank. You will join the team for the Winter 2027 term, running from January to April. This role is based on-site in Toronto.
What you'll do#
- Perform financial statement analysis and risk assessment tasks.
- Analyze, prepare, and process credit requests and annual reviews.
- Complete quality control tasks related to credit analytics.
- Build industry expertise for your assigned sectors.
- Handle research and special projects as needed.
- Maintain a sense of urgency and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain professional relationships.
- Knowledge of Corporate Banking, loan products, or loan operations is an asset.
