About the role#
RBC Capital Markets is looking for an intern to join the Client Management team for the Winter 2027 term. This role provides exposure to global transaction banking by working with global financial institutions and broker-dealer clients.
What you'll do#
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of client accounts, including new openings, product set-ups, maintenance requests, and closures.
- Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries regarding GTB products and services.
- Collaborate with Analysts, Associates, and Relationship Managers to resolve client issues.
- Analyze data to extract insights that support strategic initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Business Administration, Economics, or related degree program.
- Completion of your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study.
- You must return to school after the April 2027 term, or require this term as a mandatory graduation component if graduating in April 2027.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage time, juggle priorities, and solve problems effectively.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- A fast-learning mindset.
- Previous exposure to financial services, including an understanding of banking products, corporate cash management, and cross-border payments.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM tools is an asset.
