About the role#
This internship with the Commercial Banking National Office team offers hands-on experience in data-driven decision-making. You will work on projects that support strategic and operational priorities by delivering analysis, reporting, and insights. This role is designed for students who want to explore Commercial Banking while building technical and analytical skills.
What you'll do#
- Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources to support business reporting.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through research and analysis.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support business initiatives.
- Collaborate with partners across Commercial Banking to understand their analytical needs.
- Communicate findings through presentations, reports, and data visualizations.
- Ensure daily activities and decisions align with the Bank's risk appetite and culture.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good presentation skills and a professional demeanor.
- A natural curiosity and interest in learning about Commercial Banking.
- Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Python is considered an asset.
