About the role#
Join the Corporate Banking team as a Winter 2027 Analyst for a 4-month term. This role supports senior corporate bankers in delivering banking solutions to corporate, government, and institutional clients. You will work within one of several industry coverage or product groups, including Diversified/Technology, Financial Institutions, Mining & Forestry, Energy, or Loan Syndications, based on business needs.
What you'll do#
- Provide support through financial statement and data analysis.
- Build and run financial models for credit analysis and risk evaluation.
- Conduct credit analysis and industry research.
- Assist in preparing information memoranda and client pitch books.
- Participate in the credit approval process, loan documentation, and closing procedures.
- Manage aspects of the loan portfolio and provide recommendations for credit facilities.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, Engineering, or Economics.
- Expected graduation date no sooner than August 2027.
- Demonstrated interest in Capital Markets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to work gracefully under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada and current residency within Canada.
