About the role#
The IT Data & Analytics Intern supports data-driven insights for IT asset demand planning, purchasing trends, and financial tracking. You will gain hands-on experience by analyzing asset demand, purchase order activity, and spending patterns. This role involves partnering with IT, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to improve forecasting and procurement decision-making.
What you'll do#
- Extract and consolidate data from IT systems, procurement tools, and financial sources.
- Maintain dashboards and reports that cover asset demand, purchase order activity, spending, and consumption patterns.
- Validate data accuracy, identify inconsistencies, and support data cleanup.
- Analyze historical data to identify recurring IT asset demand patterns.
- Prepare data and analytical content for meetings, presentations, and business reviews.
- Support the preparation of basic forecasts for IT assets like laptops and peripherals.
- Track demand against actual usage to identify variances.
- Review purchase order data to identify standard configurations and purchasing trends.
- Document reporting processes, data definitions, and analytical methods.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with formulas and pivot tables.
- A basic understanding of data analysis and reporting concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
