About the role#
The IT Asset Management Intern supports the IT Asset Management function by assisting with asset tracking, procurement coordination, and inventory management. You will work closely with IT and Supply Chain teams to maintain visibility into asset inventory and ensure accurate records throughout the hardware lifecycle.
What you'll do#
- Track laptops, peripherals, and other IT hardware throughout their lifecycle.
- Support asset intake by receiving, tagging, and updating records.
- Maintain accurate asset data in management systems and tracking files.
- Assist with periodic inventory counts and reconciliation activities.
- Coordinate with IT teams on asset needs and deployment tracking.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with storage organization.
- Validate incoming equipment deliveries against purchase orders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to follow established processes and maintain accurate records.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
