About the role#
This is a full-time manufacturing internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in Broussard, Louisiana. This position is paid and requires you to have your own work authorization, as sponsorship is not provided.
What you'll do#
- Assist with day-to-day manufacturing operations and monitor equipment.
- Participate in quality control processes by inspecting products for defects.
- Collect and analyze data regarding equipment performance and product quality.
- Identify ways to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize processes.
- Learn and apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste.
- Draft reports, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards in all tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related STEM field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent.
- Fluency in oral and written English with effective communication skills.
- Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
