About the role#
This internship program offers students pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree hands-on work experience within a global energy company. You will work on projects, attend team meetings, and receive coaching from a manager and a buddy to help develop your technical skills. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Complete internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.
- Assist engineers and technologists by conducting research, performing data analysis, and providing technical support.
- Contribute to the design process by creating drawings or prototypes for new products and technologies.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments and designs, while preparing necessary reports and documentation.
- Participate in software development, coding, and programming tasks.
- Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to identify technical issues and propose solutions.
- Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, or another STEM field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).
- Fluency in written and spoken English with effective communication skills.
- Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
