About the role#
This internship provides students with hands-on experience in the energy sector. You will work on projects that support customer outcomes and business improvements while gaining insight into the systems and practices used in our operations. You will be supported by a manager and a buddy throughout the program to help you develop your skills and complete your assignments.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers and technologists with ongoing projects through research, data analysis, and technical support.
- Participate in the design process, including creating drawings or prototypes and contributing to new product development.
- Collaborate on software development, coding, or programming tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments and project information while preparing necessary reports.
- Identify technical challenges, propose solutions, and work effectively as part of a team.
- Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards to all tasks to ensure compliance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, or another STEM field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher out of 4.0, or an equivalent academic standing.
- Fluency in oral and written English with effective communication skills.
- Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
