About the role#
As a Human Resources Intern at MeadowWood Behavioral Health Hospital, you will support core HR processes including benefits, compensation, and organizational development. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role with a rolling start date. You will act as the first point of contact for employees and supervisors, requiring you to use discretion and sound judgment when handling inquiries or sensitive information.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate new hire orientations, benefits enrollment, and employee training programs.
- Manage the onboarding process for new staff and handle termination procedures, including data entry in UltiPro.
- Perform job and compensation analysis to support HR operations.
- Maintain accurate employee data and ensure all records remain confidential.
- Interpret and communicate organizational policies to staff and management.
- Assist with planning, reporting, and process improvement by interacting with corporate teams.
- Provide advice on HR practices and expectations to employees and supervisors.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
- Professional certification in Human Resources is a plus.
