About the role#
The Quality Assurance Engineer Associate Intern supports Power Generation Services by applying quality assurance and quality control principles. You will gain hands-on experience with the Quality Management System, non-conformance tracking, and corrective action processes. This role involves working closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Outage Services teams to support continuous improvement efforts.
What you'll do#
- Support root cause analysis activities using the 8D format and track containment actions.
- Collect, maintain, and analyze non-conformance data to support improvement initiatives.
- Assist with maintaining the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) database and quality records.
- Develop and maintain quality KPIs to identify issues and opportunities.
- Assist with the development of quality training programs and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve quality issues and review inspection plans.
What you'll need#
- Current student pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience using Power BI for data visualization.
- Understanding of root cause analysis and 8D problem-solving methodologies.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and documentation standards.
