About the role#
As a Procurement Specialist Intern, you will gain practical experience by supporting our daily operations in Senatobia. You will work under the direction of the Procurement Manager to assist with various projects and data-driven purchasing decisions. This role is a full-time, paid internship for Winter 2027.
What you'll do#
- Analyze supply chain data using Excel to evaluate supplier performance, material costs, and inventory trends.
- Solicit and compare vendor quotations while gathering supplier information.
- Work with cross-functional teams to find cost-effective sourcing solutions.
- Conduct assessments on suppliers and materials, including cycle time reviews and raw material evaluations.
- Use SAP ERP to manage procurement activities, track supplier data, and maintain purchasing records.
- Apply procurement standards to ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and business ethics requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Reliable transportation to the worksite in Senatobia.
- Strong critical thinking skills to analyze situations and develop solutions.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with team members.

- Location: Senatobia, Mississippi.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $20 to $34 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
