About the role#
This summer internship provides an introduction to product marketing within a global medical device company. You will join the Foot & Ankle and Trauma Product Management team in Naples, Florida, to support strategic development and lifecycle management of the product portfolio. This is a full-time, on-site role running from May 2027 through August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support product development initiatives and brand management activities.
- Develop marketing collateral, newsletters, and technique guides while crafting customer-focused messaging.
- Conduct market research on existing and future product lines.
- Communicate with surgeons and the sales force to conduct surveys, analyze findings, and identify trends.
- Use the IMS Hospital Supply Index Database to analyze competitor sales data and market opportunities.
- Build PowerPoint presentations to communicate data and present on various topics.
- Coordinate product development labs and manage product demos and samples.
- Work with cadaveric specimens to support the research and implementation of prototype surgical devices.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Business, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Junior standing or above is preferred, though recent graduates within six months of their graduation date are eligible.
- Intermediate to expert computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work with and around cadaveric specimens.
- Ability to follow written and verbal direction.
