About the role#
This co-op position supports the Human Factors Engineering team in Naples, Florida. You will work on medical device development projects and help prepare documentation for regulatory submissions. The role runs from January 2027 through June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Write or assist with human factors engineering reports for regulatory submissions.
- Perform human factors analyses, including complaints, task, and risk assessments.
- Help plan, run, and review usability testing for new devices or concepts.
- Manage assigned tasks to deliver results, communicating any issues clearly and on time.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in Biomedical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Recent graduates who finished their degree within the last six months are also eligible.
- Junior status or higher is preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills, including experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of design controls or the medical device development process is a plus.

- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January to June).
