About the role#
This co-op position supports the Design Quality Engineering team in Naples, Florida. You will work on market product initiation and remediation projects while gaining experience in risk management, product quality, and process control. The role requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Manage design baseline and risk management remediation activities.
- Update the Design Traceability Matrix and Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis.
- Route documentation through the Product Lifecycle Management system.
- Collaborate with Design and Quality Engineers to release technical documents.
- Support projects involving design control, quality plans, and the production part approval process.
- Assist with complaints analysis and documentation change reviews.
- Review data to support the transition to a new management system.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in an engineering degree program.
- Junior standing or higher is preferred.
- Studies in Biomedical, Mechanical, or Bioengineering are preferred.
- Recent graduates must be within six months of their graduation date.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
- Skill in recording data accurately according to established procedures.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
