About the role#
We are looking for interns to help us explore how artificial intelligence and new technologies can improve our manufacturing operations. You will work with teams across the organization to identify how digital tools can help with efficiency, data analysis, and decision-making. This is a part-time, on-site role where you will turn ideas into practical solutions.
What you'll do#
- Research AI tools, technologies, and potential applications for our business.
- Partner with different departments to understand current processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the development and testing of AI-based workflows, prompts, and process improvements.
- Organize, review, and analyze operational data.
- Present your completed projects and key findings to leadership and other stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a program related to artificial intelligence, computer science, data analytics, information systems, engineering, business, or mathematics.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with employees from different departments.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site at our Sauget, Illinois facility.
