About the role#
Join the HR team at Donaldson to support our Compensation and People Analytics functions. You will gain experience in how data-driven insights influence talent strategies, reward programs, and organizational effectiveness across our global operations. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Bloomington, Minnesota.
What you'll do#
- Lead an analytical project to define and measure leadership using statistical methodologies, including validation testing.
- Update and manage People Analytics & Insights dashboards within Workday.
- Analyze internal HR data and external survey sources to support compensation efforts.
- Assist with market pricing projects and compensation benchmarking.
- Maintain job architecture and catalog information while supporting the documentation of job descriptions.
- Evaluate team operating metrics and suggest improvements for our operating model.
- Contribute to special projects across Total Rewards and HR analytics.
What you'll need#
- Current junior status (rising senior) pursuing an undergraduate degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Statistics, Mathematics, Human Resources, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience with statistical testing, model building, and validation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and basic data analysis.
- Preferred: Experience in psychometrics, knowledge of compensation principles, and the ability to explain technical results clearly.
- Preferred: Strong attention to detail and a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
