About the role#
As an Engineering Intern at Donaldson, you will join a team focused on specific filtration technologies, such as product development, materials technology, or air and liquid filtration. This program offers hands-on experience through real-world projects and mentorship. You will work alongside engineers and scientists to help bring new technologies to market.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineers and industry experts on customer-specific projects.
- Perform test support, FEA, FMEA, and stack up tolerance analysis.
- Contribute to designing, testing, and building filtration technology.
- Assist or lead lab testing to analyze the performance of filter elements and assemblies.
- Develop DOEs to improve the implementation and understanding of new media technology.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program for Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, Chemical, Biomedical, or Material Science Engineering.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications like Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong prioritization and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead projects independently within a team.
- Hands-on experience with engineering practices, processes, and protocols.
- CAD experience.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, lab, or test environment through internships, employment, or student organizations.
- Preference for students currently in their sophomore or junior year.
