About the role#
As a Systems Engineering Intern, you will work on-site in Forest, Virginia. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling start date. You will work a 9/80 schedule, which means you work 80 hours over nine days and have every other Friday off.
What you'll do#
- Analyze system requirements provided by users and end systems.
- Develop concept of operations, design plans, and implementation strategies.
- Support the evaluation and development of system architectures.
- Create test plans, cases, and procedures.
- Execute tests and document your findings.
- Use software tools, scripting, and hardware troubleshooting to resolve issues.
- Present design activity plans and status updates to internal and external customers.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Coursework or experience in systems architecture, systems analysis, design, integration, project management, or model-based systems engineering.
- Familiarity with Rhapsody.
