About the role#
This is a part-time Sales Analytics internship based in Williamsville, New York. You will work with the sales analytics team to manage data, build reports, and provide insights that guide business decisions.
What you'll do#
- Collect, clean, and analyze sales data from CRM, ERP, and Power BI systems.
- Build and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators.
- Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for the team.
- Assist with sales forecasting using historical data and predictive models.
- Identify risks and opportunities within sales performance.
- Present findings using clear visualizations and narratives.
- Recommend strategies to improve pricing, customer targeting, and sales processes.
- Evaluate the return on investment for sales campaigns and promotions.
- Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align data and goals.
- Ensure data integrity and perform routine maintenance tasks.
What you'll need#
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Majors in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform routine office tasks like computer work and filing.
