About the role#
This internship supports the Legal Operations team as they modernize how legal work is managed and measured. You will turn financial, operational, and contract data into insights that help leaders make informed decisions. You will work alongside experts to improve cost management and operational efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Transform legal operations, vendor spend, budget, and contract data into actionable reporting.
- Use Excel, reporting tools, and AI-enabled capabilities to streamline manual analysis and improve data quality.
- Build or enhance dashboards, automated reports, and workflows to monitor legal spend and operational metrics.
- Identify ways to improve variance tracking and reduce manual data manipulation.
- Collaborate with Legal Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Technology partners to deliver project outcomes.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising senior working toward a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or economics.
- You have demonstrated analytical project experience.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data organization.
- You can use AI tools responsibly to support analysis, automation, and insight generation.
- You possess a collaborative work style and the ability to connect data findings to business context.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid summer internship running from May 24 through July 30, 2027.
- The role is based in St. Louis, Missouri.
- You will work a hybrid schedule, with three days per week in the office and two days working remotely.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
