About the role#
The Finance Leadership Development Program Internship is a 10-week summer program for MBA students. You will own a project tied to enterprise priorities, growth strategies, and business needs. This role offers exposure to senior leaders and helps you understand how finance shapes health care outcomes.
What you'll do#
- Manage a 10-week project aligned with current finance priorities and business needs.
- Analyze financial data, business trends, and operational drivers to create practical recommendations.
- Use AI-enabled tools and analytics to support research, modeling, and productivity.
- Partner with teams in areas such as corporate strategy, financial planning, health care pricing, treasury, accounting, and underwriting.
- Create a presentation summarizing your project findings, business impact, and recommended next steps for leadership.
- Build your knowledge of the health care ecosystem and the role of finance in enterprise performance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA program, preferably with a finance emphasis.
- At least 1 year of professional experience.
- Experience using AI tools, analytics platforms, or automation through coursework, projects, or work.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in a finance career within the health care industry.
Location & details#
- Location: Bloomfield, Connecticut.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 24 through July 30).
- Modality: Hybrid, with three days per week in the office and two days remote.
- Employment: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: Paid internship ($50-$52 per hour).
- Housing: Provided for the duration of the internship.
- Sponsorship: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
