About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience within the Product Analytics team. You will support clinical, digital, and provider-focused solutions by using medical, pharmacy, and laboratory data. You will work alongside experienced professionals to uncover insights that improve population health and evaluate product performance. The program includes professional development opportunities such as speaker sessions, networking events, and collaborative projects.
What you'll do#
- Lead 2-3 key projects to address real business problems.
- Analyze health services utilization trends among specific patient populations.
- Develop dashboards to provide strategic insights for internal stakeholders.
- Use statistical techniques to analyze drivers of medical spend and recommend mitigation actions.
- Perform data preparation, analysis, and reporting.
- Research emerging industry topics to support team brainstorming.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support the product analytics team.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising senior working toward a bachelor's degree.
- Preferred majors include Biomedical Informatics, Health Information, Business, Analytics, or Public Health.
- Proficiency with SQL and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Prior database skills are preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is hybrid, requiring three days per week in the office.
- You must be available to work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks, starting May 24, 2027.
- Office locations are Morris Plains, New Jersey, or St. Louis, Missouri.
- This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
