About the role#
The Medicaid Data Analytics team manages compliance and operational reporting to ensure internal processes and regulatory requirements are met. This 11-week summer internship offers exposure to provider network management, member growth initiatives, and enterprise system implementations. You will work alongside internal partners to maintain data processes and support organizational goals.
What you'll do#
- Support compliance and operational reporting processes to help leaders monitor performance.
- Generate reports, validate data, and conduct recurring business reporting activities.
- Use Excel, SQL, and QuickBase to support operational needs.
- Coordinate meeting follow-ups, track project action items, and manage initiatives.
- Gain exposure to provider network management and registry maintenance.
- Support strategic projects related to member growth and regulatory proposals.
- Participate in enterprise system implementation and conversion activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program with an anticipated graduation date between September 2027 and June 2028.
- A relevant major such as Business Administration, Health Administration, Operations Management, Public Health, or Finance.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, reporting tools, and data visualization.
- Familiarity with QuickBase or similar business applications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through school, work, or project involvement.
- Interest in pursuing a full-time position with CVS Health after graduation.
Location & details#
- Location: Hartford, Connecticut.
- Modality: Hybrid, with three days per week in the office.
- Term: Full-time, May 24, 2027, to August 4, 2027.
- Compensation: $26 per hour.
- Note: Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
