About the role#
As a Financial Advisor Intern at RBC, you will focus on building and maintaining relationships with personal and small business clients. You will provide professional advice on credit and investments while helping clients navigate their financial goals and life events. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Surrey, British Columbia.
What you'll do#
- Attract, nurture, and grow client relationships through proactive engagement.
- Provide professional advice and education regarding credit and investment solutions.
- Communicate clearly to uncover client needs and resolve concerns.
- Collaborate with internal experts in financial planning, retirement, mortgages, and business banking to provide customized advice.
- Champion digital tools to help clients manage their own banking needs.
What you'll need#
- Valid Mutual Funds accreditation.
- Completed Designated Financial Services Advisor (DFSA) designation.
- 2-3 years of proven sales experience within the financial services industry.
- A demonstrated ability to build trust and sustain long-term client relationships.
- Strong digital literacy across devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Finance or Business Administration.
