About the role#
The Emerging Talent Program (ETP) Corporate Banking Group offers a 10-week summer internship within the Commercial Credit Products track. You will gain hands-on experience through training, coaching, and collaboration with senior managers on live projects. This program provides exposure to capital markets solutions such as loan syndications, fixed income, equity capital markets, and structured finance. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Compile market data and conduct in-depth industry and company research.
- Perform fundamental credit analysis, including financial statement analysis and qualitative company performance reviews.
- Evaluate the risk and return of transactions through financial and industry due diligence.
- Create client pitch materials, internal deal screening memos, and underwriting committee approval documents.
- Support Relationship Managers with call planning, production tracking, and pipeline management.
- Ensure accurate reporting across sales performance applications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- A graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028.
- Prior internship or work experience in a banking-related field.
- Active involvement in campus leadership positions or extracurricular activities.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-focused environment.
