About the role#
The Summer 2027 Key Investment Services Internship is a 10.5-week program based in Erie, Pennsylvania. This role provides exposure to the wealth management industry by pairing interns with a Private Client Advisor. You will gain hands-on experience in financial planning and client services while participating in professional development labs and networking events.
What you'll do#
- Partner with a Private Client Advisor to support daily operations and gain industry insight.
- Participate in client discovery and financial planning activities, including data entry and analysis.
- Observe client meetings and assist with administrative tasks such as digitizing files and verifying contact information.
- Manage Salesforce records and assist in the coordination of client events.
- Collaborate with peers on a Capstone Group Project focused on real-world industry topics.
- Develop interpersonal communication and client relationship skills.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a four-year or graduate-level degree in finance, accounting, economics, or data science with an expected graduation date by May 2029.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork through work experience or extracurricular activities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Participation in or completion of the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) program is preferred.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license.

- Compensation: $23 per hour with a $2,000 sign-on bonus.
