About the role#
The Key Investment Services (KIS) Internship is a 10.5-week program running from May 26, 2027, to August 6, 2027. This role offers exposure to the wealth management industry, including investment guidance, planning services, and insurance products. Interns will receive coaching and participate in professional development activities throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Partner with a KIS Private Client Advisor to gain hands-on experience.
- Participate in client discovery and financial planning activities, including data entry and analysis.
- Observe client meetings and assist with administrative tasks.
- Manage a Salesforce book and assist in planning client events.
- Collaborate on a Capstone Group Project addressing real-world industry topics.
- Engage in enterprise learning labs and networking events.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a four-year or graduate-level degree by May 2029 in finance, accounting, economics, or data science.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA with demonstrated leadership and teamwork through work or extracurricular activities.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Participation in or completion of the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) program is preferred.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license.

- Location: 2520 West 26th Street, Erie, Pennsylvania.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $23 per hour plus a $2,000 summer internship sign-on bonus.
- Employment Status: Full-time internship.
