About the role#
KeyBank is hiring for a Desktop Support Internship. This is a full-time, paid position that operates on a rolling basis. You will work in a hybrid environment, supporting our internal computer platforms across corporate, campus, and data center locations.
What you'll do#
- Install, maintain, and support desktop applications.
- Provision applications using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
- Set up and troubleshoot computers running Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS.
- Support both desktop and mobile operating systems.
- Track IT assets throughout their lifecycle.
- Complete assigned tickets within established service level agreements.
- Work on specific projects and initiatives while staying within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Provide customer service to internal clients and communicate clearly with end users.
- Produce documentation and adapt to new procedures as you learn.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Computer Science or Business coursework, a completed degree in these fields, or equivalent work experience.
- Technical support experience in a computer support environment.
- Ability to configure, troubleshoot, and repair hardware.
- Experience configuring network connectivity, including mobile computing.
- Functional knowledge of information security and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- A team-oriented mindset and a commitment to personal responsibility.
